Photographs taken in Braehead School

These negatives have just been recently found and were taken by Jim Hamilton in the early 60's within the school. The negatives have survived well and show various pupils and staff.

If you appear in one of these photographs or know who the people are, or know where they were taken, then please get in touch by e-mail and let me know.

R. F. Mackenzie in the school office

The images above and below show pupils working on a giant
skier for Christmas celebration.

This photo is one of the
school janitors, but who is he?

The two photographs above and the two below, I feel were taken at what looks
like the school youth club. Is this correct? Who are these people?

This photo appears to be taken at one of the school dancies or parties.
Looks like the twist was the dance of the time by the looks of the actions
of the above dancers.

The photo above and below appear to be taken in one of the science labs.
Again who are the pupils and who is the member of staff?

The photo above and below, I feel were taken at the same time and looks like
they were taken at a school party, maybe Christmas?
Below content of e-mail from - Jan Morrissey.

The photograph where we are all sitting with Coke bottles is the first year school party that would be 61/62 1B. I am at the front of the photo Janice Howie, Heather Baxter, Anthea Thomson (with the straw up her nose!!) then Marilyn Eason. Don't know anyone else in any of the photos though. Bye for now Jan.
